RESOLUTION NO 753
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO APPLY FOR 1981
INTERJURISDICTIONAL BLOCK GRANT FUNDS WITH
KING COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council feels that an
athletic field for the youth of our area would be desirable, and
WHEREAS, it has been proposed to work with King County
Parks and Recreation Department and submit a joint application to the
Block Grant Office for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for 1981
Interjurisdictional Block Grant Funds to be
co- sponsored by King County to develop a youth
athletic field at Foster Memorial Park.
Further, it is desired of the Tukwila City Council
to have the project designed taking into consideration
the lowest possible maintenance for the site.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this day of o 1980.
