RESOLUTION NO. 763
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
IN SUPPORT OF CONTINUING THE USE OF THE TUKWILA
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AS A PRIMARY SCHOOL.
WHEREAS, from time to time, and because of changing needs in
the school system, Southcentral School District has found it necessary
to discontinue use of some of its facilities, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council feels that a public school
facility is an essential part of the community, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council has no intention of changing
the location of the present recreation facility to this site.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Tukwila City Council hereby requests, on behalf of the
citizens, that the School Board of the Southcentral School
District continue the operation of the Tukwila Elementary
School and adequately staff it in the best interest of the
children of the area.

to have the Tukwila Elementary School remain open and adequately staffed,
and
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this /5 day of 1980.
