RESOLUTION NO. 769
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENT TO
THE ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT MITIGATION AGREEMENT UNDER
CITY FILE EPIC 133 -80.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the provisions of the
Environmental Impact Mitigation agreement recorded under King County
Auditor's File 8090100494, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the public interest will be
served by supplementing said agreement with provisions to restrict evening
hour truck traffic at the subject site.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement
with Bestway Motor Freight, Inc. to control noise related to
truck traffic associated with their developing motor freight
terminal at the easterly terminus of South 143rd Street.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this /10day of n-v-e_ c.-4%' 1980.
