RESOLUTION NO. 797
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA ACCEPTING
A BEAUTIFUL WATER FOUNTAIN AND EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION TO G. JOHN DOLES.
WHEREAS, the Doces Company located at 17798 Southcenter
Parkway has discontinued their operation in the City of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, Mr. G. John Doces has graciously offered the City
of Tukwila one of the beautiful, handmade water fountains located at
the business site, and
WHEREAS, the fountain is a work of art created personally
by G. John Doces himself, and the Council desires to accept this
offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Mayor Frank Todd and the Tukwila City Council are
pleased to accept the valuable work of art from
G. John Doces and express their sincere thanks for
his generous offer.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 6th day of October 1981.

Dear Mayor Todd:
As I leave Tukwilla, I am surrounded with many pleasant
memories.
Your city has given me an excellent opportunity to help
develop the largest home furnishing center on the West
coast. For that I am very grateful.
As a memento of my appreciation I would like to give
and dedicate one of my fountains to the people of
Tukwilla.
