RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING AN OFFER FROM MARIO A. SEGALE TO PLACE
CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS IN CITY HALL.
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Tukwila City Council encourage
participation in City functions by citizens and the business com-
munity, and
WHEREAS, Mario A. Segale, Segale Business Park, has generously
offered to decorate the City Hall with Christmas decorations this year, and
resolution.
WHEREAS, donations to the City are gratefully accepted by
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Mayor Todd and the Tukwila City Council gratefully accept
the offer made by Mario A. Segale to decorate the City
Hall for Christmas and express their thanks to him for
his participation and support.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 3 day of 1981.

Attention: Mr. Frank Todd, Mayor
Mr. Gary Van Dusen, Council President
Every year at Christmas time, upon entering City Hall, I
have said to myself, "It would be nice to see our public
facility decorated to further the holiday spirit for both
the citizens and City employees."
I know the expense is probably one the public should not
bear, and this is a good area for the public private
sectors to work together.
Therefore, I respectfully request the City's consent to
decorate the City Hall with Christmas decorations this
year. This would be done at no cost to the City.
As I understand it, this would be considered a donation to
the City and require a Council resolution. This is why I
am writing early, so that the Council has adequate time to
process this request prior to the Holiday Season.
