RESOLUTION NO. 804
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
GRANTING BENEFITS TO DEPARTMENTS HEADS AND TO
THE MAYOR.
WHEREAS, investigation shows that the City's Union employees
have a benefit package greater than that of the Department Heads and
Mayor, and
WHEREAS, this discrepancy has been discussed with the Finance
and Personnel Committee on several occasions, and
WHEREAS, the Committee recognizes the inequity and recommends
that the City Council approve a new benefit package.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The following benefit package is hereby granted
to the positions of Finance Director, Fire Chief, Park and Recreation
Director, Planning Director, Police Chief, Public Works Director, City
Clerk and Administrative Assistant:
1. Dental Plan: Washington Dental Service, Plan A
2. Disability: Insurance Package
3. Life Insurance: $12,500 Additional
4. Sick Leave: Three (3) days of sick leave with pay
upon date of employment and after the
completion of the third (3rd) month of
continuous service shall receive an ad-
ditional one (1) day of sick leave with
pay per month to a maximum of ninety (90)
days.
Section 2. The following benefit package is hereby granted to
the position of Mayor.
1. Dental Plan: Washington Dental Service, Plan A
2. Life Insurance: $12,500 Additional
