RESOLUTION NO 815
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO NEGOTIATE AND SIGN FOUR
LEASE AGREEMENTS WITH THE SOUTH CENTRAL SCHOOL
DISTRICT FOR CERTAIN PROPERTIES TO BE USED FOR
PARK PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the South Central School District is willing to extend
the leases on four parcels of school property to the City of Tukwila, and
WHEREAS, the South Central School District will continue to lease
each parcel of land for $1.00 per year, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila desires to develop and maintain
said parcels for park and recreation purposes for the benefit of the
community.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor is authorized to negotiate and sign lease agreements
for the four parcels of property with the South Central School District
commonly referred to as:
1. Lower Foster Park Site
2. Upper Foster Park Site
3. Duwamish School Park Site
4. Pea Patch and Open Area
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 2nd day of March 1982.
