RESOLUTION NO. 826
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
NAMING FOSTER HIGH SCHOOL'S HOMECOMING QUEEN AS
MISS TUKWILA FOR 1982.
WHEREAS, it has been a policy of the City of Tukwila to name the
girl selected as Foster High School Homecoming Queen to represent the City
as honorary Queen, and
WHEREAS, the Sister City Committee and the Chamber of Commerce
agree with this procedure and are sponsoring the 1982 Homecoming Queen
during the SeaFair Pageant as Miss Tukwila.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Tukwila City Council hereby names Jeannie Peterson,
Foster High School Homecoming Queen as Miss Tukwila for
1982.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 22nd day of June 1982.
