RESOLUTION NO. 827
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING A PETITION TO ANNEX TO THE CITY CERTAIN
PROPERTY WITHIN THE TUKWILA PLANNING AREA AND
FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON
THE SUBJECT PETITION. (JOSEPH FOSTER MEMORIAL PARK)
WHEREAS, there was filed with the City of Tukwila on June
5, 1982, a notice of intent to commece annexation proceedings
pursuant to RCW 35.13.125, and
WHEREAS, the Environmental Questionnaire for this annexa-
tion has been received and a Final Declaration of Non Significance
made by the responsible official.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. The petition by South Central School District
to annex 3.4 acres situated contiguous to the northwestern
boundary of the City is accepted. Said annexation area is
depicted on Map Exhibit B, and is leaally described in
Exhibit IA attached hereto.
Section 2. The date of August16,1982 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Tukwila City Hall Council Chambers ishereby provided for
a Public Hearing on this petition, as prescribed in
RCW 35A.14,.130.
Section 3. Following the Public Hearing described in
Section 2 of this resolution, the City Council shall
consider an ordinance to effect said annexation. Said
ordinance shall include adoption of a Tukwila zoning
designation for the subject lands.

WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 19th day of July 1982

Foster Annexation:
That portion of the Stephen Foster Donation Claim No. 38, in
Section 14, Township 23 North, Range 4 East, W.M., lying Southerly
of South 137th Street; Southeasterly of South 138th Street; Easterly
of 51st Avenue South; Northerly of South 139th Street (Orchard Avenue)
and Westerly of 53rd Avenue South; TOGETHER WITH the West 1/2 of 53rd
Avenue South., lying Southerly of South 137th Street; and Northerly
of the center line (extended Easterly) of South 138th Street (Held
Street).
