RESOLUTION NO 830
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A PETITION TO ANNEX TO
THE CITY CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE TUKWILA
PLANNING AREA AND FIXING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING ON THE SUBJECT PETITION. (SOUTHGATE)
WHEREAS, there was filed with the City of Tukwila on July 12,
1982, a revised Notice of Intention to commence annexation proceedings
pursuant to RCW 35A.14.120, and
WHEREAS, the environmental checklist for this proposed annexation
was reviewed and a Declaration of Non Significance was made by the City's
responsible official.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
Section 1. Receipt of a petition filed under City Master File
'No. 82 -11 -A to annex 4.11 acres situated contiguous to the
City's north boundary, pursuant to RCW 35A.14.120, is hereby
acknowledged. Said annexation is described on Exhibit A,
attached hereto, and is depicted on the map found on Exhibit
B, attached hereto.
Approved as to Form
Section 2. A public hearing will be held on September 7, 1982,
beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Tukwila City
Hall, as provided in RCW 35A.14.120, for the purpose of meeting
with the initiating parties of this petition to determine:
A. Whether Tukwila will accept the proposed annexation, and
B. Whether Tukwila will require the simultaneous adoption of
a proposed zoning regulation for the area proposed to be
annexed or to decide how the land will be zoned after it
has been annexed to the City, and
C. Whether Tukwila will require the assumption of all, or
any portion of, the existing City of Tukwila indebtedness
by the area to be annexed.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 2nd day of August 1982.

Those portions of Tracts 57 58 62 and 63 of Riverside Interurban Tracts
unrecorded according to the plat thereof recorded
in Volume 10 of Plats on Page 74 records of King County
lying northerly and Easterly of Riverton Renton Junction Road
South 133rd Street westerly of 42nd avenue south
and Southerly of the South line of South 131st Street
extended westerly from 41st Avenue South to said Riverton Renton Junction Road
and the South 93.0 feet of Lots 1 2 and 3
block 2 Riverside Interurban Tracts unrecorded together with
the right-of-way of South 131st Street from 42nd Avenue South to the east
line of 41st Avenue South
