HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0834 - Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee TUK WILA WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 834 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AS REPRE- SENTATIVE AND THE PLANNING DIRECTOR AS ALTERNATE TO SERVE ON THE METROPOLITAN WATER POLLUTION ABATEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, RCW 35.58.210 provides for each metropolitan municipal corporation, authorized to perform water pollution abatement, to establish a Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee to be composed of representatives of each component city and county within such metro- politan municipal corporation, and WHEREAS, the Municipality of Metropolitan Seattle (Metro) has established such a water pollution abatement advisory committee, and WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has not officially designated a representative to said committee, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it to be in the interest of the City of Tukwila to be represented on said Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Public Works Director is hereby designated as the representative of the City of Tukwila to the Metropolitan Water Pol- lution Abatement Advisory Committee and the Planning Director is hereby designated as alternate to said committee. Section 2. A conformed copy of this resolution shall be for- warded to the Metropolitan Water Pollution Abatement Advisory Committee in care of Hanford Choate, Metro, M/S 82, Seattle, WA 98104. PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 20th day of September 1982. Approved as to Form City Attorney Daniel D.
