WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1075 authorizes the Mayor and City Council
to accept all donations by resolution, and
below.
WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO 835
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING DONATIONS.
WHEREAS, the City is very pleased to receive the donations listed
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor and City Council gratefully accept the following
donations and thank the contributors for their thoughtfulness:
1. Rostrum with built -in speaker system donated to the Senior
Citizen Program by the Southcenter Rotary Club. Estimated value of $350.00.
2. Four sets of rappelling equipment donated by Recreational
Equipment, Inc. to the Police Department SWAT Team. Estimated value of
$150.00
3. $50.00 received from Washington State Pharmaceutical As-
sociation to be used for the Aid Car. The Fire Department conducted a
CPR workshop at their annual meeting for the benefit of pharmacists
wishing to receive or renew the training.
4. $50.00 received from Washington State Floor Covering
Association for the Aid Car. Deep appreciation was expressed for the
professional manner and quick response of the Aid Car in an emergency
situation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 20th day of September 1982.
