HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrd 0089 - General Fund for Street ImprovementsBE IT ORDAINED_BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA:
It being deemed advi sable that the town of Tukwila shall
borrow for its general fund the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00)
from the fund created by the sale of bonds for the improvement of the
streets of the City of Tukwila under the Ordinance passed by the
Town Council the hLday of March, 1919, such loan to
be a temporary loan only and, to be repaid at any time when required
for use in the special fund created for the improvement of streets
of the City of Tukwila.
NOW THEN IT I9 HEREBY ORDAINED That the Mayor and City
Clerk of the Town or City of Tukwila shall execute a warrant or
promissory note,as shall seem best, running to and in favor of the
street improvement fund of the City of Tukwila hereinabove referred
to in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), bearing interest
at the rate of -per cent) per annum and payable at any
time upon thirty (30) days notice, and
IT IS FURTHER ORDAINED That the City Treasurer of the Town
or City of Tukwila pay said warrant or note from the fund provided
for the improvement of the streets of the City of Tukwila into the
general fund of the Town or City of Tukwila-and that said City Treas-
urer demand repayment of the same whenever it shall' be deemed necess-
ary and repay the same from the general fund of the Town or City of
Tukwila within thirty (30 days after such demand.
IT 18 FURTHER ORDAINED That this Ordinance shall be in due
force and effect as provided by the laws of the State of Washington.
