CITY OF
TUK WILA
Whereas, there has been filed with the City of Tukwila two (2)
petitions to annex to the city certain contiguous territory bearing the
signatures of the owners of not less than seventy -five (75) percent of
the assessed valuation of the respective annexation areas as follow:
a) Application 82 -8 -A Foster Park for 3.4 acres in accordance with
the Notice of Intent to Commence Annexation Proceedings accepted by the
City Council on 16 August 1982
b) Application 82 -11 -A Southgate for 4.11acres in accordance with
the Notice of Intention to Commence Annexation Proceedings accepted by
the City Council on 7 September 1982 and
Whereas, RCW 35A.14.130 requires that a public hearing be held
before the legislative body of the city prior to action on the subject
petitions.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASH-
INGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The date of 15 November 1982 at 7:OOPM in the Council
Chamber of Tukwila City Hall is hereby provided for a public hearing on
these petitions.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regualr meeting thereof this 18th day of October 1982.
