RESOLUTION NO 878
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ESTABLISHING THE CITY'S 1984 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
BLOCK GRANT LOCAL FUNDING POLICIES.
WHEREAS, the City desires to fulfill its contract obligations
to the King County Community Development Block Grant Office, and
WHEREAS, the Tukwila City Council has reviewed and selected
three local funding policies for which 1984 Block Grant Funds will be used.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council has identified three local funding policies
for 1984:
1. Develop a plan to expand and enhance the existing side-
walk and trail system to better serve the entire com-
munity.
2. To preserve and restore historical buildings, in parti-
cular, the old school house.
3. To rehabilitate existing park foot trails.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 1st day of August 1983.
