RESOLUTION NO. 882
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A RECIPROCAL
AGREEMENT WITH THE SOUTH CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Reciprocal Agreement
with the South Central School District to provide for community
recreation programs through the optimum use of school facilities.
Said agreement is attached as reference
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 19th day of September 1983.

WHEREAS, the South Central School District "District" herein)
and the City of Tukwila "City" herein) intend to serve the residents
of Tukwila by providing for community recreation programs through the
optimum use of school facilities,
IT IS AGREED that:
The District may make available, without fees to the City,
school facilities for community recreation programs when such facilities
are not being used for school activities. Facilities shall include
gymnasiums, multi purpose rooms, classrooms, and outdoor athletic fields.
The City may improve the outdoor athletic facilities when
it is agreed in writing by both parties that the improvements are
appropriate and feasible. Further, the City will administer community
recreation programs involving school facilities for the mutual benefit
of City residents and the District (including prevention of damage to
District facilities in use).
Both the District and City agree to carry appropriate liability
insurance.
