RESOLUTION NO 888
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE ADDENDUM B TO THE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN CITY OF TUKWILA AND FIRE
FIGHTERS LOCAL NO. 2088 ON THE
SUPPLEMENTAL PENSION PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila, Washington, and Fire Fighters
Local No. 2088 have been in a dispute over the interpretation of
Addendum A -1, signed September 9, 1980, with respect to the
Supplemental Pension Plan, and both parties believe that it
is in each party's interest to resolve this matter by settle-
ment rather than by arbitration,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf
of the City of Tukwila an Addendum B to Agreement between
City of Tukwila and Fire Fighters Local No. 2088 on the
Supplemental Pension Plan, which Agreement will contain
the following terms:
"For purposes of settlement, the parties
agree that Article XXVI (Supplemental
Pension Plan) shall be interpreted as
follows: Effective January 1, 1983,
only the application of FICA rates follow
FICA rules. This Article shall not be
subject to any other application of FICA
regulations. Previously, FICA rules did
not apply to FICA rates and previously
withheld funds will be reimbursed to
Union members"
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 17th day of October 1983

ADDENDUM B TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
CITY OF TUKWILA AND FIRE FIGHTERS LOCAL NO. 2088
For purposes of settlement, the parties agree that
Article XXVI (Supplemental Pension Plan) shall be interpreted
as follows: Effective January 1, 1983, only the application
of FICA rates follow FICA rules. This Article shall not be
subject to any other application of FICA regulations. Pre-
viously, FICA rules did not apply to FICA rates and previously
withheld funds will be reimbursed to Union members.
