DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
RESOLUTION NO. 898
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH
THE SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY ALCOHOL CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila has been utilizing the services of the

The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with the
Southeast Community Alcohol Center per the conditions of the attached
agreement. The Mayor is also authorized to execute yearly renewals
with SECAC for their services.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 6th day of February 1984.

CONTRACT RENEWAL WITH RATE CHANGE
THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this 7th day of February, 1984, by and
between the CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, a municipal corporation, hereinafter refer-
red to as CITY, and the SOUTHEAST COMMUNITY ALCOHOL CENTER, hereinafter referred to
as AGENCY,
WHEREAS the parties hereto entered into a Contract for Services on January 1,
1981, a copy of which is hereto attached and by this reference made a part hereof
as though fully set out; and
WHEREAS the parties each desire to renew and extend that Contract for Services
for an additional year with the exception of an increase in the compensation to be
paid to Agency by City for the services provided for in said Contract; and
WHEREAS..the services to City have continued to be beneficial and cost effective
and the Court desires to continue to use said Agency services; and
WHEREAS AGENCY HAS experienced a. considerable reduction in governmental reve-
nues, accompanied by increased costs of services;
NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual promises and benefits
of and to the parties, IT IS MUTUALLY COVENANTED and agreed as follows:

1. The Contract for Services entered into on January 1, 1981, and renewed
from year to year thereafter, through December 31, 1983, be and hereby
is renewed for a period of one (1) year, commencing on the first day of
January 1984 and ending on the 31st day of December, 1984.
2. The compensation for the services
sum of SEVEN. THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED
in increments of EIGHTEEN HUNDRED
upon vouchers from AGENCY to CITY

DOLLARS ($7,200), payable quarterly
DOLLARS ($1800) per quarter, based
for actual services performed.
3. All of the other terms and provisions of said Contract for Services are
hereby restated and affirmed as the terms of this Contract Renewal with
Rate Change.
