HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0901 - LID #30 (Local Improvement District) - Segregate Assessment RollJDW:jry 01/30/84 CITY OF TUKWILA WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. q A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHING- TON, AUTHORIZING THE FINANCE DIRECTOR TO MAKE A SEGREGATION ON THE ORIGINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR LID 30. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1248, passed by the City Coun- cil on the 23rd day of March, 1982, approved and confirmed the final assessment roll for Local Improvement District No. 30, and WHEREAS, the original assessment included, in part, assessment numbers 8, 9, 10 and 11 described on Exhibit A attached hereto and hereby incorporated in full by this ref- erence, and WHEREAS, Graydon Smith has requested the City to segregate, reallocate and /or revise the assessments for numbers 8 through 11, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Tukwila City Council hereby orders the Finance Director to make segregations on the original assessment roll of LID No. 30 as hereinafter provided. Section 2. The segregations as computed and approved by the Public Works Director which are to be revised are as follows: Assessment Lot Principal Number Number Amount Segregated 8 370, Replat of Lot #1, Graydon Smith 26,811.25 120,500 square feet 9 380, Replat of Lot #2, Graydon Smith 27,973.37 125,723 square feet Section 3. In accordance with RCW Chapter 35.44, permitting the segregation of assessments, the Finance Direc- tor will proceed to make the segregations ordered by this resolution upon receipt from the persons requesting said segregations of sufficient funds to cover the costs incurred for engineering and clerical fees. Pursuant to RCW 35.44.070, notice is further given that a hearing on said final assessment roll will be held at 7:00 p.m. on the 23rd day of March, 1982, in the Council Chambers, Tukwila City Hall, Tukwila, Washington, and that any person who may desire to object or protest any assessment shown thereon must make his objection or protest in writing and file it with the City Clerk at or prior to the date fixed for the hearing. At the time and place fixed and at times to which the hearing may be ad- journed, the Council will sit as a board of equalization for the purpose of considering the roll, and the Council will consider the objections made and will correct, revise, raise, lower, change or modify the roll or any part thereof or set aside the roll and order the assessment to be made de novo.
