WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila and King County recognize the respon-
sibility of all jurisdictions to provide basic public health services to their
residents, and
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila desires to contract with the
Seattle -King County Department of Public Health and agrees to reimburse the
Department for the City's share, and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Health agrees to provide additional
health services throughout the area in order to preserve, promote and improve
the public health of all residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with the
Seattle -King County Department of Public Health for basic health ser-
vices.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TTUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 19th day of March 1984.
