RESOLUTION NO 923
CITY OF TUKWILA
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF A PIANO BY THE TUKWILA
SENIOR RECREATION PARTICIPANTS TO BE USED AT THE
TUKWILA COMMUNITY CENTER AND COMMENDING AND THANKING
THE TUKWILA SENIOR RECREATION PARTICIPANTS FOR SUCH
DONATION.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Senior Recreation Participants have
expressed their desire to donate to the City of Tukwila a Gulbran-
sen spinet piano for use at the Tukwila Community Center, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes
to accept the donation of the piano and to recognize the Tukwila
Senior Recreation Participants for such donation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly
acknowledge and record the donation and the City's appreciation in
the official records of the City, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the dona-
tion of a Gulbransen spinet piano from the Tukwila Senior Recrea-
tion Participants for use at the Tukwila Community Center in
senior and other recreation programs.
Section 2. The City of Tukwila hereby expresses its
gratitude and appreciation to the Tukwila Senior Recreation Parti-
cipants for their generous donation. The City commends and recog-
nizes each and every one of the participants.
Section 3. A copy of this resolution is to be recorded
in the permanent record of the City and a certified copy of the
resolution given to a representative of the Tukwila Senior Recrea-
tion Participants to express the City Council's appreciation for
the donation.
