A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING UPON A
PETITION FOR VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY
WITHIN THE CITY OF TUKWILA GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS SOUTH
133RD STREET LYING EASTERLY OF SOUTH 134TH PLACE (SHEEHAN).
WHEREAS, on April 15, 1985, Robert J., Pauline L., Paul E. and
VerLen Sheehan filed a petition for vacation of the unopened portion of
South 133rd Street lying easterly of South 134th Place with the office of
the City Clerk, and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by the owners of more than
two thirds of the property abutting the. right of way sought to be vacated,
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 35.79.010, the City Council has
determined that a public hearing should be held for the purpose of con-
sidering said petition for right of'way vacation, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. A public hearing upon the petition of Robert J.,
Pauline L., Paul E. and VerLen Sheehan for vacation of certain public right
of way generally described as the unopened portion of South 133rd Street
lying easterly of South 134th Place, in the City of Tukwila, Washington,
shall be held in the City Council chambers at Tukwila City Hall at 7:00
p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, on JUNE 10j-_
1985, which is not less than twenty nor more than sixty days frow the date
of passage of this resolution, at which time all persons interested in said
right of way vacation are invited to appear and be heard.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to post written notice of
the pendency of the public hearing in three public places in the City of
Tukwila and in an additional conspicuous place on the right of way sought
to be vacated at least twenty days prior to the date set for hearing.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AT THEIR REGULAR MEETING on the day of 1985.
