AN ORDIANNCE FIXING THE TIME OF HOLDING REGULAR MEETINGS
OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TUKWILA AND PROVIDING
FOR THE CALLING OF SPECIAL MEETINGS OF SUCH TOWN COUNCIL
AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO 47 OF THE ORDINANCES OF SAID TOWN
Be it Ordained by the Council of the Town of Tukwila:
Section 1. That regular meetings of the Council,of the Town of
Tukwila shall be held on the second Thursday of each month, but
should any such Thursday fall upon a legal holiday, the time of
holding such meeting shall be on the Friday following. PROVIDED:
That the first meeting of the Town Council in any year shall be
held on the second Tuesday in January, but should any such Tuesday
fall upon a legal holiday, the time of holding such first meeting
of the Town Council shall be on the Wednesday following.
Section 2. Special meetings of the Council of the Town of Tukwila
shall be held at such times as the business of the Town way re-
quire, and in such case the mayor or three Councilmen rney call
such special meetings by written notice delivered to each member
of the Council at least three (3) hours before the time specified
for calling such proposed meeting.
Section 3. Ordinance No. 1 /7 shall be, and the same is hereby
repealed.
Section 4. An emergency is hereby declared to exist and this
Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage
and execution by the Mayor and Clerk.
Passed the Town Council this 14th day of January 1919,
and signed by-me in open session in authentication of its
passage, this 14th day of January, A. D.„1919.
