HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0958 - Accept Turnover of Sanitary Sewer Lift Station and Force Main from Trammel Crow Company RESOLUTION NO. 958 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING THE TURN -OVER OF A SANITARY SEWER LIFT STATION AND FORCE MAIN CONSTRUCTED BY TRAMMEL CROW COMPANY ON CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED AT INTERURBAN AVENUE AND 42ND AVENUE SOUTH. WHEREAS, as part of the development of certain property in the City of Tukwila, commonly known as Tukwila Commerce Park, Trammel Crow Company has constructed a sanitary sewer lift station and force main located on cer- tain-property at Interurban Avenue and 42nd Avenue South, and WHEREAS, the City has received a request from Trammel Crow Company for acceptance of the sanitary sewer lift station and force main as a public sewer extension and Trammel Crow Company has furnished the City with a bill of sale, an as -built plan of the lift station and force main and an easement for its construction and maintenance, and WHEREAS, the City Public Works Department has reviewed the lift station and force main construction and has determined that the same meets all applicable City standards and specifications and the Department has therefore recommended to the City Council that the same be accepted by the City, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the lift station and force main should be accepted by the City as a public sewer extension and that the City should assume responsibility for the operation and maintenance of the same. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Acceptance of Construction, Ownership and Responsi- bility for Maintenance. The City Council of the City of Tukwila hereby appro- ves and accepts the turnover of a sanitary sewer lift station and force main constructed by Trammel Crow.
