HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 0960 - 1985 Non-Represented Employee Salary Schedule CITY OF TUKWILA A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE NON -UNION POSITION LIST ESTABLISHED BY RESOLUTION NO. 937 OF THE CITY AND ESTABLISHING A SALARY AND WAGE SCHEDULE FOR NON -UNION EMPLOYEES TO BE EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1985. WHEREAS, Resolution No. 937 of the City of Tukwila, passed by the City Council on December 17, 1984, established a position list for all non -union employees of the City and adopted a salary and wage schedule for such employees to be effective January 1, 1985 through June 30, 1985, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend the non -union position list which was adopted as Attachment A to Resolution No. 937 in order to change the title of the Police Lieutenant position (Grade 3) to Assistant Chief (Grade 3), and WHEREAS, the City Council also desires to increase the salaries of certain employees by .3 percent effective July 1, 1985 through December 31, 1985 and to make such increase retroactive to January 1, 1985. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The non -union position list adopted as Attachment A to Resolution No. 937, passed by the City Council on December 17, 1984, is hereby amended to read as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorpor- ated herein by this reference as if set forth in full. Section 2. The salary and wage schedule for those positions of employment referenced on Exhibit B attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full is hereby established as the offi- cial City of Tukwila salary and wage schedule for those city employees effective July 1, 1985 through December 31, 1985, provided, that the .3 percent salary increase reflected in said salary and wage schedule over the salary and wage schedule adopted as Attachment B to Resolution No. 937, passed by the City Council on December 17, 1984, is hereby made retroactive from January 1, 1985 through June 30, 1985 for those employees listed on Exhibit B. All compensation of those City employees holding the positions set forth on Exhibit B shall be in accord with the schedule established thereby and any future amendments thereto effective July 1, 1985 through December 31, 1985.
