A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, APPROVING A COLLECTIVE
BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF TUKWILA
AND PUBLIC, PROFESSIONAL OFFICE- CLERICAL
EMPLOYEES AND DRIVERS LOCAL UNION NO. 763 (REPRE-
SENTING THE PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEES), FOR THE PERIOD
COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1985 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31,
1986 AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN THE SAME ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, Public, Professional Office Clerical
Employees and Drivers Local Union No. 763 (hereinafter referred
to as "the Union represents, for collective bargaining pur-
poses, the employees of the City's Public Works Department, and
WHEREAS, the previous contract between the City of
Tukwila and the Union with respect to the Public Works Department
employees expired December 31, 1984, and
WHEREAS, the City and the Union have been negotiating a
new contract and have reached a tentative agreement for the
period commencing January 1, 1985 and ending December 31, 1986,
subject to ratification by the City Council and the members of
the Union, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department employees have
ratified the said tentative agreement and the City administration
has recommended to the City Council, and the City Council
concurs, that the City Council should do the same, now,
therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Approval and Authorization. The City Coun-
cil hereby approves that certain collective bargaining agreement
entitled "Agreement of and Between City of Tukwila, Washington,
and Public, Professional Office Clerical Employees and Drivers
Local Union No. 763 (representing the Public Works Employees)
January 1, 1985 through December 31, 1986" and authorizes the
Mayor of the City of Tukwila to execute the same on behalf of the
City.

WASHINGTON, AT THEIR REGULAR MEETING on the 1-6 day of
