A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING THE DAILY RECORD
CHRONICLE AS THE OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER OF THE CITY FOR
THE PURPOSE OF PUBLISHING ORDINANCES AND LEGAL
NOTICES.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila is an optional municipal code city
organized under the provisions of Title 35A RCW, and
WHEREAS, Section 102 of Chapter 469, Laws of 1985, requires each
code city to designate an official newspaper by resolution for the purpose of
publishing ordinances and other notices required to be published by law, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that The Daily Record
Chronicle is a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Tukwila and has
the qualifications prescribed by Chapter 65.16 RCW and Chapter 469, Laws of
1985 for official newspapers.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Designation of Official Newspaper. Pursuant to Section
102 of Chapter 469, Laws of 1985, The Daily Record Chronicle is hereby
designated as the official newspaper of the City of Tukwila, for the purpose
of publishing ordinances and other notices required to be published by law.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
