RESOLUTION NO. 974
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR A
PUBLIC HEARING UPON A PETITION FOR VACATION
OF CERTAIN PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY WITHIN THE
CITY OF TUKWILA GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS SOUTH
151st STREET EAST OF 52nd AVENUE SOUTH
WHEREAS, on August 26, 1985, T S D Building Associates,
Daniel Rochons, Rota Hatton and Raymond Hayward, filed a petition
with the City Clerk for vacation of certain right -of -way
generally described as South 151st Street east of 52nd Avenue
South, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has determined that said petition
was signed by the owners of more than two- thirds of the property
abutting the right -of -way sought to be vacated, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 35 79 010, the City Council
has determined that a public hearing should be held for the
purpose of considering said petition for right -of -way vacation,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 A public hearing upon the petition of T S D
Building Associates, Daniel Rochons, Rita Hatton and Raymond
Hayward, for vacation of certain public right -of -way generally
described as South 151st Street east of 52nd Avenue South shall
be held in the City Council chambers at Tukwila City Hall at
7 00 PM or as soon thereafter as the matter_ may be heard, on
October 14.
1985, which is not less than twenty (20)
nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of passage of this
resolution, at which time all persons interested in said right-
of-way vacation are invited to appear and be heard
Section 2 The City Clerk is directed to post written
notice of pendency of the public hearing in three public places
in the City of Tukwila and in one additional conspicuous place on
the right -of -way sought to be vacated at least twenty (20) days
prior to the date set for hearing
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 16th day of
September 1985
