RESOLUTION NO. 980
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A 1986 -1991
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN FOR THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is in the
City's best interest to focus attention on community goals, to
coordinate capital improvement projects with those goals, and to
provide a framework for establishing priorities to encourage
timely, well- planned capital expenditures, and
WHEREAS, a Capital Improvement Plan is a listing and
schedule of anticipated major purchases and improvements to be
initiated over a given period for the purpose of maintaining and
improving the quality of facilities and level of services avail-
able to Tukwila residents and members of the business community
and as such will provide the necessary framework for coordinating
the City's capital improvement projects with community goals, and
WHEREAS, the City Council, in conjunction with the
administration, has developed a Capital Improvement Plan for the
years 1986 through 1991 and has caused the same to be printed in
a document entitled "1986 -1991 Capital Improvement Plan for the
City of Tukwila and
WHEREAS, the City Council has held at least one public
hearing on such plan and has determined that it is in the best
interest of the City to adopt such plan, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 Capital Improvement Plan Adopted That
certain document entitled "1986 -1991 Capital Improvement Plan for
the City of Tukwila" is hereby adopted as the City's official
capital improvement plan for the years indicated
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 21st day of October 1985
