RESOLUTION NO. 988
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA EXPRESSING
SINCERE THANKS TO L C "BUD" BOHRER, COUNCIL-
MAN
WHEREAS, On February 22, 1977, L C "Bud" Bohrer was appointed Councilman
for the City of Tukwila to fill a vacated position, and
WHEREAS, Mr Bohrer has successfully run for office for two consecutive
terms thereafter, and
WHEREAS, during his term of office he has promoted legislation influencing
the orderly growth and development of the City, and
WHEREAS, this growth has resulted in the City Budget growing from
$7,266,342 in 1977 to the adoption of the 1986 Budget totaling
$23,578,419, and
WHEREAS, Mr Bohrer has encouraged development of recreation trails and
bike paths and preservation of greenbelt areas for the enjoyment of
each citizen, and
WHEREAS, he has participated actively on Council committees, presided as
Mayor and Council President and has fully given of his time to repre-
sent the Citizens of Tukwila
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and Council Members
express sincere thanks to L C "Bud" Bohrer for nine (9) years of dedicated
service to the City of Tukwila as Councilman
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 6th day of January 1986
