RESOLUTION NO. 993
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
RECOGNIZING THE FOSTER HIGH SCHOOL GIRL'S BASKETBALL
TEAM AND COACH TIM PARKER, AS THE "BEST IN TUKWILA,
BEST IN KING COUNTY, AND BEST IN THE STATE."
WHEREAS, for 12 Foster High School girls and their coach, all of
their practice, determination, time and ambition has paid off, and
WHEREAS, on Saturday, March 8, 1986, their dreams came true, and
WHEREAS, the final score was 51 to 38, and the Foster High School
Girl's Basketball Team was the Class A State Champion, and
WHEREAS, special commendations go to these fine athletes and their
coach, Tim Parker, and
WHEREAS, the community is proud of their record, their spirit, and
their good sportsmanship
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS

Mayor Van Dusen and the Tukwila City Council do hereby recognize the
Foster High School Girl's Basketball Team and Coach Tim Parker, and his
staff, to be the "BEST IN TUKWILA, BEST IN KING COUNTY, AND BEST IN THE
STATE," and commend them for their exceptional abilities and fine
sportsmanship On behalf of the entire City, we congratulate them on
being a team the Community is proud of!
