HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1001 - Accept Donations of Fire Department Aid Car Fund and Fire HydrantCITY OF TUKWILA A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING A DONATION TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE AID CAR FUND AND A ROBOT FIRE HYDRANT TO BE USED TO PROMOTE FIRE PREVENTION AND THANKING THOSE WHO DONATED WHEREAS, the Sunshine Grandmothers Club has very graciously made a donation to the Aid Car Fund to be used for purchase of equipment, and WHEREAS, the Pavilion Outlet Center and Southcenter Shopping Center have donated a robot fire hydrant to be used to promote fire prevention and safety, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to accept the donations and to recognize those who so generously donated, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly acknowledge and record the donations and express their appreciation in the official records of the City NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS Section 1 The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation of $50 00 to the Fire Department Aid Car Fund from the Sunshine Grandmothers Club Section 2 The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation of a robot fire hydrant from the Pavilion Outlet Center and Southcenter Shopping Center Section 3 The City of Tukwila hereby expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the Sunshine Grandmothers Club, Pavilion Outlet Center and Southcenter Shopping Center for their generous donations The City commends and recognizes each of the participants Section 4 A copy of this resolution is to be recorded in the per- manent record of the City and a certified copy of the resolution given to a representative to express the City Council's appreciation for the donation PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 21st day of April 1986 Appro ed as to Form Filed with the City Clerk Passed by the City Council Ida//14 WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 1001 Attest /Authenticated Council President Maxine Anderson, City Clerk
