RESOLUTION NO. 1012 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
ACCEPTING DONATIONS AND THANKING THOSE WHO GENEROUSLY
GAVE.
WHEREAS, the Tukwila Senior Citizens have worked hard to raise $1,400
to purchase 52 padded chairs for use at the Community Center for the Senior
Program, and
WHEREAS, the South center /Tukwila Rotary Club has donated one park
bench which is install along South 160th at 51st Avenue South in Crystal
Spring Park for everyones enjoyment, and
WHEREAS, the Friendly Garden Club has made a contribution to the Aid
Car Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to accept
these donations and to recognize those who so generously donated, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly acknowledge
and record the donations and express their appreciation in the official
records of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation of 52
padded chairs to be used at the Community Center for the Senior Program.
Section 2. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation of one
park bench which is installed in Crystal Springs Park.
Section 3. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation to the
Fire Department Aid Car Fund from the Friendly Garden Club.
Section 4. The City of Tukwila hereby expresses its gratitude and
appreciation to the Tukwila Senior Citizens, the Southcenter /Tukwila Rotary
Club and the Friendly Garden Club for their generous donations. The City com-
mends and recognizes each of these participants.
Section 5. A copy of this resolution is to be recorded in the per-
manent record of the City and a certified copy of the resolution given to a
representative of each organization to express the City Council's appreciation
for the donations.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this day of 1986.
