RESOLUTION NO. 1016 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
EXPRESSING SINCERE THANKS TO DORIS E. PHELPS,
COUNCILMEMBER.
WHEREAS, Doris Phelps was elected and first took office on January 1,
1980, and was subsequently elected for a second term, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Phelps brought with her a very useful knowledge and
understanding of complex public works and planning issues, and
WHEREAS, she has served her terms with enthusiasm, skill, hard work,
fairness and a fine sense of humor, and
WHEREAS, her presence will be missed not only on the City Council but
also in several intergovernmental forums;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and Councilmembers
express their sincere thanks to Doris Phelps for her seven years of dedicated
service to the City of Tukwila as Councilmember, and convey best wishes for her
future.

MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL THIS 22nd DAY OF September 1986.
