RESOLUTION NO. 1023
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUK-
WILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING ANY AND ALL BIDS RECEIVED
BY THE CITY TO CONSTRUCT A NEW 18TH GREEN, PRACTICE
TEE, AND 18TH FAIRWAY IMPROVEMENTS.
Whereas, within the City's 1986 Budget funds were appropriated to
construct a new 18th green, practice tee, and 18th fairway improvements at
Foster Golf Links, and
Whereas, the City's Long Range Park and Open Space Plan calls for
improvements to be made to Foster Golf Links, and
Whereas, on November 3, 1986, the City opened three bids which were
submitted by Frontier Landscaping, Inc., Golf Landscaping, Inc., and Fuji
Hydromulch, Ltd., and
Whereas, Fuji Hydromulch, Ltd., requested they be allowed to withdraw
their bid because they did not receive Addendum #2, and Frontier Landscaping,
Inc., and Golf Landscaping, Inc., bids were determined to be larger than the
engineer's estimate by $23,000 and $31,000 respectively, and
Whereas, the City Council therefore desires to reject all bids re-
ceived pursuant to RCW 35.23.352,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Bids Rejected. Pursuant to RCW 35.23.352, the City
Council of the City of Tukwila hereby rejects any and all bids received by the
City on November 3, 1986 to construct a new 18th green, practice tee, and 18th
fairway improvements.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AT
THEIR REGULAR MEETING ON THE 1ST DAY OF dECEMBER 1986.
