RESOLUTION NO. 1026
Repealed by Res 1412
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CREATION OF AN AGENCY
FUND TO ACCOUNT FOR THE CITY OF TUKWILA'S DEFERRED
COMPENSATION PLAN BALANCES.
WHEREAS, the City authorized a Deferred Compensation Plan per Resolu-
tion No. 569 on March 7, 1977, and
WHEREAS, the City is required to account for the balances in deferred
compensation plans authorized by the Internal Revenue Code, Section 457; and
required by Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) and the State Audi-
tor, and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to create an agency fund to meet the
financial reporting requirements of the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Agency Fund Number 631 shall be designated as the "Deferred
Compensation Fund" and be used to display the annual balances of any deferred
compensation plans the City may utilize.
Section 2. The Finance Director is hereby authorized to implement any
accounting procedures necessary to meet the requirements of GASB and the State
Auditor.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this /_5 day of 1986.
