RESOLUTION NO. 1030
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, FIXING THE TIME FOR A PUBLIC HEARING UPON A
PETITION FOR VACATION OF CERTAIN PUBLIC RIGHT -OF -WAY
WITHIN THE CITY OF TUKWILA GENERALLY DESCRIBED AS
MONSTER ROAD S W FROM THE INTERSECTION OF W GRADY WAY
NORTH TO THE CITY LIMITS
WHEREAS, the Jacob Nielsen Estate, Raymond Nielsen, Richard
Nielsen and Margaret Nielsen have filed a petition with the City
Clerk for vacation of certain right -of -way generally described as
Monster Road S W from the intersection of W Grady Way north to
the City Limits, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has determined that said petition was
signed by the owners of more than two thirds of the property
abutting the right -of -way sought to be vacated, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with RCW 35 79 010, the City Council
has determined that a public hearing should be held for the
purpose of considering said petition for right -of -way vacation,
now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
Section 1 A public hearing upon the petition of the Jacob
Nielsen Estate, Raymond Nielsen, Richard Nielsen and Margaret
Nielsen, for vacation of certain public right -of -way generally
described as Monster Road S W from the intersection of W Grady
Way north to the City limits shall be held in the City Council
chambers at Tukwila City Hall at 7 00 p m or as soon thereafter
as the matter may be heard, on Feb 23, 198 7, which is not less
than twenty (20) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of
passage of this resolution, at which time all persons interested
in said right -of -way vacation are invited to appear and be heard
Section 2 The City Clerk is directed to post written notice
of pendency of the public hearing in three public places in the
City of Tukwila and in one additional conspicuous place on the
right -of -way sought to be vacated at least twenty (20) days prior
to the date set for hearing
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 19th day of January 1987
