AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THE MANNER OF CONSTRUCTING AND
HANGING GATES OR OTHER MEANS OP EMT OR ENTRANCE PROM OR TO
REAL PROPERTY ABUTTING UPON ANY SIDE WALK IN THE TOWN OP
TUKWILA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OP THE TOWN OP TUKWILA
AS FOLLOWS:
Section One. That hereafter all gates, stiles or other
means of exit from or entrance to any real property abutting
upon any side walk or other walk, in the Town of Tukwila, shall
be so constructed that such gates, stiles or other means of
exit from such real property to and upon such walks or side
walks in said Town of Tukwila, shall swing or turn in upon
such real property and not out upon such walks or side walks;
and shall be so constructed that the opening of such gates or
other means of entrance or exit above described shall no no
manner interfere with the use of such walks or side walks
or the free and easy passage of pedestrians thereon.
Section Two. This ordinance shall in no wise be construed
as effecting gates already constructed, but after the passage
of this ordinance all renewals of present and existing gates
shall be in conformity with the provisions of Section One of
this ordinance.
Section Three. All gates hereafter constructed in viola-
tion of this ordinance shall be construed to be and treated as
nuisances.
Passed the Town Council of the Town of Tukwila and
signed by me in authentication of its passage this 10th day of July 1917
