Home My WebLink AboutRes 1077 - 1989-1994 Transportation Improvement ProgramCITY OF TUKWILA A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A SIX -YEAR TRANS- PORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, AND DIRECTING THE SAME TO BE FILED WITH THE STATE SECRETARY OF TRANSPORTATION AND THE URBAN ARTERIAL BOARD. WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements of RCW Chapters 35.77 and 47.26, as amended, the City Council of the City of Tukwila has previously adopted a Comprehensive Street Program and thereafter periodically modified said Compre- hensive Street Program by resolution, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the work accomplished under said program, determined current and future City street and arterial needs, and based upon these findings has prepared a Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program for the next ensuing six (6) calendar years, and WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held on the said Six -Year Transpor- tation Improvement Program, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that there will be no significant adverse environmental impacts as a result of adoption or implementation of the Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Program Adopted. The Six -Year Transportation Improvement Program for the City of Tukwila, as revised and extended for the ensuing six (6) calendar years (1989 -1994, inclusive), a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth, which program sets forth the project location, type of improvement and the estimated cost thereof, is hereby adopted and approved. Section 2. Filing of Program. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to file a copy of this resolution, together with the exhibit attached hereto, with the Secretary of Transportation and the Urban Arterial Board for the State of Washington.
