RESOLUTION NO. 1082 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE SOUTHCENTER PARKWAY
SANITARY SEWER EXTENSION PROJECT (L.I.D. NO. 32)
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received five responsive bids from con-
tractors for purposes of carrying out the construction of work under the bidding
documents for the Southcenter Parkway Sanitary Sewer Extension Project (L.I.D.
No. 32), and
WHEREAS, all bids received were substantially higher than the
engineer's estimate and budgeted amounts programmed under the formation of
this local improvement district to carry out the construction of this sewer
improvement project, and
WHEREAS, development of additional soils information, producing a
modified bidding document and proceeding with rebidding of this contract at a
later time potentially may reduce the construction contract bid, according to
the City's consultant,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council hereby rejects all bids received for the Sanitary
Sewer Extension Project (L.I.D. No. 32) that were received at the formal bid
opening at 10:00 a.m. on June 30, 1988, at Tukwila City Hall.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this �ay of d 1r_C 6 1988.
