RESOLUTION NO. 1087
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
ACCEPTING A DONATION OF ROCK SALT FROM INTERNATIONAL
CONSOLIDATION AND DISTRIBUTION INCORPORATED.
WHEREAS, the firm of International Consolidation and Distribution,
Inc., 18393 Cascade Ave., Tukwila, has generously donated five pallets con-
taining approximately 12,500 pounds of rock salt to the City of Tukwila to
assist the street crew during the winter months, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to accept the
donation and to recognize those who so generously donated, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly acknowledge
and record donations and express their appreciation in the official records of
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation of five pallets
(approximately 12,500 pounds) of rock salt from International Consolidation
and Distribution to be used to assist the street department during the winter
months.
2. The City of Tukwila hereby expresses its gratitude and appre-
ciation to International Consolidation and Distribution for their generous
donation and commends them for their interest in aiding the City.
3. A copy of this resolution is to be recorded in the permanent
record of the City and a certified copy of the resolution given to a represen-
tative of International Consolidation and Distribution to express the City
Council's appreciation for the donation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 9 day of 1988.
