RESOLUTION NO. 1088
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
ACCEPTING A DONATION OF AN APPLE COMPUTER WITH
HARD DISK AND PRINTER FROM THE BURLINGTON NORTHERN
INTERMODAL AND OLYMPUS ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the firms of Burlington Northern Intermodal and Olympus
Environmental Service of Kent, Washington, have generously donated:
One Apple M5900 Computer, Serial No. F8181DP,
One Apple MZ644 External Hard Disk, Serial No. 8280JE, and
One Apple A9M0320 Imagewriter, Serial No. 1575398A9M0320,
valued at $4,000, to the City of Tukwila Fire Department for use on its Hazardous
Materials Response Van, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tukwila wishes to accept the
donation and to recognize those who so generously donated, and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it fitting to publicly acknowledge
and record donations and express their appreciation in the official records of the
City,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASH-
INGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Tukwila hereby accepts the donation of the Apple Com-
puter and its accessories from Burlington Northern Intermodal and Olympus
Environmental Services to be used on -board the Hazardous Materials Response
Van.
2. The City of Tukwila hereby expresses its gratitude and appreciation
to Burlington Northern Intermodal and Olympus Environmental Service for their
generous donation and commends them for their interest in aiding the City.
3. A copy of this resolution is to be recorded in the permanent record
of the City and a certified copy of the resolution given to a representative of
Burlington Northern Intermodal and Olympus Environmental Service to express
the City Council's appreciation for the donation.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
at a regular meeting thereof this 3— day of (Vct. 1988.
