A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, HONORING THE VISIT OF GOVERNOR
BOOTH GARDNER AND PROCLAIMING OCTOBER 6, 1988, AS
GOVERNOR BOOTH GARDNER DAY.
WHEREAS, Tukwila is honored to host the Governor as a quest in our
WHEREAS, the role of local governments like Tukwila have been promoted
and well represented by Booth Gardner in his role as Governor, and
WHEREAS, the Governor has played a leadership role in our State in
developing programs for education, drug abuse and assistance to the poor, and
WHEREAS, Booth Gardner represents the citizens of Washington State
and is working to ensure the State's financial and social well -being for its
future.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and City Council
Members extend a warm welcome to Governor Gardner and proclaim
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, at a
regular meeting thereof this 3rd day of October 1988.
