HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1098 - 1989 Non-Represented Employee Salary Schedule (Repealed by Res 1388) Resolution 1098 was amended or repealed by the following resolutions. 1125 1388 RESOLUTION NO. 1098 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, GRANTING A COST -OF- LIVING ADJUSTMENT TO NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY, AND AMENDING AND CONSOLIDATING THE NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEES SALARY SCHEDULES CONTAINED IN APPENDICE A OF RESOLUTION NUMBER 1060. WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed cost -of- living adjustments granted by surrounding municipal employers, and has determined that a three percent (3 adjustment is the average adjustment being considered for nonrepresented employees, and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to maintain its competitiveness with surrounding employers and equitably compensate its employees. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Cost -of- Living Adjustment. All nonrepresented regular full -time and regular part -time employees shall be granted a three percent (3 cost-of-living adjustment, effective January 1, 1989. Section 2. Amended Salary Schedule. The salary schedule attached hereto as Appendix "A and by this reference thereto incorporated herein as if fully set forth, has been amended by said three percent (3 cost -of- living adjustment for 1989. Said schedule is hereby adopted, effective January 1, 19 89 Section 3. Repeal of Previous Schedules. Previously adopted salary schedules, as contained in Appendix "A" of Resolution Number 1060 is hereby repealed. Section 4. Mayor's Salary. The Mayor's salary is hereby increased to $15,997 per year, effective January 1, 1989. Said salary increase repre- sents a three percent (3 cost -of- living adjustment to the Mayor's salary as set by Resolution Number 1060 of the Council.
