RESOLUTION NO. 1111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE
REMODEL AND ADDITION TO FIRE STATION
NO. 51, LOCATED AT 444 ANDOVER PARK EAST.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received sealed bids for the remodel and
addition to Fire Station No. 51 on July 26, 1989, and
WHEREAS, after thorough review of all responsible bids, it was determined
that the proposal from the low bidder was 13% higher than the estimate made by the
architect, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that all bids be rejected and that the
specifications be reviewed and modified before again calling for bids,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council hereby rejects all bids received for the remodel and addition
to Fire Station No. 51 located at 444 Andover Park East that were presented at a
formal bid opening conducted at 10:00 a.m. on July 26, 1989.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASH-
INGTON, AT ITS MEETING ON the 14th day of august 1989.
