HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 1120 - Reject All Bids for Foot Trails #8 and #12 ConstructionWHEREAS, the City of Tukwila received a sealed bid for the partial
reconstruction of Foot Trail No. 8 and new construction of Foot Trail No. 12, and
WHEREAS, after thorough review of the responsible bid, it was determined
that the proposal from the low bidder was 106% higher than the estimate made by
the architect, and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the bid be rejected and that the
specifications be reviewed and modified before again calling for bids,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City Council hereby rejects all bids received for the construction of Foot
Trail Nos. 8 and 12 that were presented at a formal bid opening conducted at 10:00
a.m. on October 13, 1989.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASH-
INGTON, AT ITS MEETING ON the 6TH DAY OF nOVEMBER 1989.
