A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, ACCEPTING THE
DONATION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY
BY BARNARD O. WILCOX AND IDA CHANDLER WILCOX,
HUSBAND AND WIFE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
TO ACCEPT THE DONATION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, Barnard O. Wilcox is the owner of Lots Numbers 7 and 8 located within
the Riverside Park Plat located within Tukwila, Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City's Park and Open Space Plan identifies a goal to create open
space and the City Council deems it desirable to accept the donation with the understanding
that the donated property may remain as open space or be used for any other purpose the
City deems appropriate,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tukwila, Washington, do
hereby resolve as follows:
ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION. Subject to the execution of documents necessary
to convey clear and marketable title to the City, the City Council hereby authorizes the
Mayor to accept the donation of Lots Numbers 7 and 8 of the Riverside Park Addition to
the City of Tukwila by Barnard O. and Ida Chandler Wilcox, husband and wife. The legal
description of the real property to be donated is attached hereto as Exhibit A and
incorporated herein by this reference as if fully set forth.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY F TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, at a regular meeting thereof this 4th day of December 1989.
