RESOLUTION NO 1126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
EXPRESSING SINCERE THANKS TO MARILYN G. STOKNES,
COUNCILMEMBER.
WHEREAS, Ms. Stoknes was elected to the Tukwila City Council and took
office in January, 1986, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Stoknes was subsequently elected by her peers to serve as
Council President, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Stoknes has served her term with dedication, forthrightness
and fairness, and
WHEREAS, the City has benefitted from Ms. Stoknes' diplomacy and hard
work as President of the Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
On behalf of the citizens of Tukwila, the Mayor and Councilmembers express
their sincere thanks and appreciation to Marilyn Stoknes for her four years of serv-
ice as a Councilmember in the City of Tukwila, Washington.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASH-
INGTON, AT ITS REGULAR MEETING ON the 2nd day of January 1990.
