RESOLUTION NO. 1130 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
EXPRESSING SUPPORT FOR THE PASSAGE OF SCHOOL BOND
ISSUES IN THE HIGHLINE AND SOUTH CENTRAL SCHOOL
DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila contains three school districts, and
WHEREAS, a.l' of those districts are dependent on the passage of school levies for the
continuation of their academic programs, and
WHEREAS, schools are an important part of the social fabric of a City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council is very concerned that Tukwila have the best educa-
tional system possible in order to benefit Tukwila children, and ultimately the entire
community, and
WHEREAS, passage of school levies in both Highline and the South Central School
District is necessary to keep their current standards of eduCation,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL IN TUKWILA, WASHINGTON
RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
The City of Tukwila wholeheartedly supports the passage of school levies in the High
line School District and the South Central School District.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON,
AT ITS REGULAR MEETING ON THE o70 '2 DAY OF 1990.
