RESOLUTION NO. 1137 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA,
WASHINGTON, APPROVING THE GRANT OF AN EASEMENT TO THE STATE
OF WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, the City of Tukwila is record owner of the real property
described in Exhibit A attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein;
and
WHEREAS, in the improvement of State Route 405, Green River Interchange
by the State of Washington, Department of Transportation, it is necessary and
advisable for the State of Washington to acquire an easement on the real
property described in Exhibit A for drainage maintenance for said highway; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration by the City Council of Tukwila, it
appears to the said Council that it will be for the best interests of both the
City of Tukwila and the State of Washington that the City of Tukwila convey said
lands to the State of Washington by Drainage Easement for a consideration of One
Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150),
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE that the City of Tukwila, in accordance with RCW 47.12.040 (RCW
84.64.320 for tax title lands) and through its Mayor, execute and deliver said
drainage easement on the property described in Exhibit A to the State of
Washington, Department of Transportation.
RESOLVED BY THE CITY_CQUNCIL OF T CITY OF TUKWILA, WASHINGTON, AT ITS
REGULAR MEETING ON THE day of 1990.
